Frequently asked questions

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the flower of cannabis or hemp plant. CBD is one of more than a hundred “Phyto cannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis. It is non-addictive and has no side effects. Common Phyto cannabinoids: Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)-Cannabidiol (CBD)-Cannabinol (CBN) Cannabigerol (CBG)-Cannabichromene (CBC)-Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV -Cannabidivarin (CBDV) CBD is a popular natural aid for many diseases and ailments. Humans have been using CBD for almost 7,000 years. It started in China and then later spread around the world and has been used to aid in many physiological and psychological diseases and distress. CBD is good for your wellbeing in many ways.

How does CBD Work?

CBD interacts with our bodies in a variety of ways. One of the main ways they impact us is by mimicking and augmenting the effects of the compounds in our bodies called “endogenous cannabinoids” named because of their similarity to the compounds found in the cannabis plant. These “endocannabinoids” are part of a regulatory system called the “endocannabinoid system”.

What is the Endocannabinoid System?

CBD acts upon different receptors in the body and can help with many different things. CBD has anti anxiety, anti-seizure, anti-depressant, and anti-inflammatory properties that bind to receptors in the body to help that ailment.

What are the main receptors that CBD acts upon?

CB1 is mostly found in the brain affecting your mood, emotion, appetite and even movement and coordination how pain is perceived. Mostly concentrated in the brain and central nervous system. CB2 is mostly found throughout the body to help with the improvement of the immune system, organs, inflammation, keeping arteries clear of plaque, pain relief and so much more.

Wow, what else?

Recent science has found that the endocannabinoid system does not just respond to the endocannabinoids produced in the body, but also respond to external cannabinoids like the Phyto cannabinoid - Cannabidiol, or CBD. Introducing CBD to the body may help reduce the symptoms of a wide range of illnesses including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, chronic inflammation, depression, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, anxiety, and opioid withdrawal. CBD acts upon CB1 and CBD2 receptors located throughout the body to produce a variety of potentially positive outcomes. CBD does not bind directly to either of these receptors but instead impacts them indirectly. These indirect actions include activating TRPV1 Receptors that work to control important functions like pain perception, body temperature, and inflammation. CBD can also increase the amount of anandamide in the body. Known as the “bliss molecule,” anandamide plays a role in the neural generation of pleasure and motivation. Therefore, stimulating the endocannabinoid system, CBD promotes homeostasis, reduces pain sensation and decreases inflammation. CBD provides balance to the mind, body & soul.

Why should I smoke Hemp CBD Flower?

Smoking is one of the fastest delivery systems. The therapeutic effects of CBD should be felt rapidly if not ,within minutes. It can quickly impact your receptors. Many people choose this delivery method for more fast acting relief or at their leisure.

What’s the difference between Smoking and Vaping?

They are both great delivery methods. Smoking feels more natural and pure. Combining Earth, Fire, Air, Spirit Elements. Vaping is a vapor released by heating a liquid. Both effective. Smoking the herb in it's natural state can make a positive impact on your health. It’s important to research your product and ask the right questions before purchasing CBD or anything you consume. Always ask for a Certificate of Analysis (COA). Find out where the product is made and how it’s made. It’s very important you know who you are buying products from! Be aware that black market products may contain risks.

What’s the importance of Certificates of Analysis(COA)?

It also states if there are any contaminants, heavy metals, pesticides or foreign material that is not supposed to be there. Note: Make sure these products are third-party lab tested.

Will smoking Hemp Flower get me high?

NO. Hemp Flower naturally contains a high concentration of CBD and low THC. In fact, it’s so minimal that it will be difficult for the THC content to show up in a drug test. The most you would feel is a relaxed sensation and calmness. Now Marijuana is a completely different plant. Both Hemp and Marijuana are cousins and are in the same Cannabis family. Marijuana does contain a high concentration of THC and low concentration of CBD
